Who I Am

Chancellor Edwards — known to most as Chance Edwards — is an Application Developer and Product Manager based in Houston, Texas. With a career spanning enterprise software development, government technology, and logistics systems, Chance brings a disciplined, first-principles approach to building software.

Chance earned a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the University of the Cumberlands, where he served as Secretary of the Cyber Club and played collegiate basketball. He began his career at IBM, where over three years he contributed to mission-critical applications for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and built logistics software systems for the United Parcel Service.

At the VA, Chancellor worked on a team that automated a business-critical process, innovating with an OCR technology that cleared a significant backlog of cases, freeing funds for veterans. As scrum master, he coordinated development across application components, leading agile ceremonies that included sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog refinement. At UPS, he built and enhanced enterprise software while coaching development teams on Scrum best practices.

After IBM, Edwards served as a Product Manager at Sanmore Investments, leading product strategy across the software development lifecycle — orchestrating cloud engineering, application development, and design teams. He currently works as an Application Developer at Baca Stein White and Associates, developing enterprise applications and contributing to data engineering operations.

Chancellor Edwards holds a SAFe Scrum Master certification and certifications in Design Thinking and HTML Development. His technical skill set spans object-oriented programming, web development, SQL, networking, and hardware systems.
